| AUSA Launchs Biggest Dumper in its HistoryAUSA’s new D600 AP/G, the biggest dumper it has ever built, has just gone on the market. This machine, loading six tonnes, completes one of the most popular construction machinery families on the market, the AUSA dumpers. With the D600 AP/G, AUSA has broadened its dumper range to meet the demand for a six-tonne load-capacity vehicle. With the new model the orange brand now spans the range from one to six tonne load capacities, and offers one of the broadest site dumper options on the market today.
With the creation of its biggest dumper, this world-class OEM strengthens its global leadership. Indeed, the new six-tonne D600 AP/G reinforces the company’s dominance in regions in which site dumpers are considered a fundamental tool such as France and the U.K. The forecasts for 2005 are especially encouraging given the strong international appeal of these machines, which has been confirmed by the first orders coming in.
Jonathan Fenoy, Project Manager of this machine expects a strong demand for the “new giant dumper”. In his opinion, AUSA’s experience in dumpers ensures the confidence of potential buyers in its new creations. The decades that the company has devoted to designing and building these vehicles and the thousands of units sold all over the world represent “the best guarantee of sales performance”, Fenoy is convinced that AUSA’s latest creation represents one of the biggest steps forward in many years.
According to Fenoy, the competition will have a hard time producing a machine like this one. Both its exterior and interior feature the latest advances in technology and design. Customers are attracted to its vanguard lines, but the most convincing features are its robust chassis that guarantees maximum durability and an interior carefully studied down to the last detail.
THE WORLD’S MOST ADVANCED AND SAFEST DUMPER
The load capacity of the new dumper is also one of its best selling points in the construction and public works sector. But there are more. The easy rotation of its skiff, its 4x4 wheel drive and its articulated chassis to which its two base platforms are attached guarantee maximum stability at all times no matter how irregular the terrain may be. The machine is equipped with a counterweight to prevent overturning, making it one of the world’s safest as well.
Its innovative features are designed to enable it to carry out a wide variety of tasks even in restricted urban environments. Despite its large size, it can manoeuvre easily on streets and highways and in tunnels and quarries. Its easy access to tight spaces too small or complicated for most trucks and its smooth roiling over swampy terrain will be decisive assets for potential buyers. In fact, many of the first orders come from customers in regions where rain is abundant.
This machine is powered by an engine that matches its rugged exterior, a unique 3.3 litre turbocharged model that delivers superior power and flexibility and reaches a speed of 32 km per hour, not common to such large vehicles. The “Total Control” system, an outstanding feature of AUSA machines, is employed in this one as well. Its “inimitable” easy handling, in the words of Fenoy, is achieved, due in part, to its flotation tyres and its excellent ergonomics, the result of many years of research, and one the main reasons behind AUSA’s continued success.
The operator has control over all of the machine’s functions which he handles with great easy by means of the multi-function joystick that AUSA builds into its machines. The hydrodynamic transmission makes driving easier since the operator does not have to worry about changing gears. Since the vehicle has no clutch, its converter makes the engine adapt constantly to the needs of each moment and decides automatically if more power or more speed are required.
Fenoy is convinced that this new addition to AUSA’s product range places it far ahead of its competition. No other six-tonne dumper on the market is as easy to operate as this one, as professionals discover when they put it to the test.
The dumper D600 AP/G will be launched at SMOPYc 2005.
