| NEW APPLICATIONS OFFERED BY THE MULTISERVICE VEHICLESAUSA continues to be one of the manufacturers with the greatest ability to adapt to market needs. The Multiservice range is one of the best examples of adapting to the sector’s demands The constant updating displayed by the company has just resulted in the new Waste Compactor and the Suction Sweeper.
The Waste Compactor is mounted on the M250M or M250H Multiservice chassis and can load up to 1,700 kg of solid urban waste, vegetative waste and cardboard. Its reduced size is also an important element: 2800x1700x1321 mm and four-wheel-drive, which makes it easy to load and unload wherever necessary.
The Waste Compactor’s other features include a pressing system using crossed-cylinders against the unloading door; manual pressure closing and lateral filler necks. The casing structure will not lose shape and is where the compression plate is housed, which works using 2 hydraulic crossed-cylinders. The vehicle’s compression strength is 9400 kg and its operating pressure is 140 bar.
AUSA’s new Compactor can be operated from inside the vehicle, thanks to an integrated control unit in the cabin and it also has two external control units on both sides of the loading opening. Other operating controls include the emergency stop function, reset device with shovel opening and a compression warning light. The vehicle can also be optionally fitted with a hydraulic loading and unloading system for containers.
The Suction Sweeper has been continually praised by professionals in the sector as a vehicle that is able to circulate at 70 km per hour and which allows the sweeping tool to be mounted in less than 5 minutes, “something which the market is not used to”, note AUSA sources. The easy changing of all kinds of tools has always been one of the company’s priorities “and if we have exceeded expectations with any of our machines, it has been with the Multiservice vehicles” add the sources.
As well as its enormous suction power, the new sweeper could become a model to follow in the sector thanks to its speed. It is able to reach speeds of almost 70 km per hour, which up until now very few machines have been able to achieve in the compact sweeper segment.
The Multiservice range’s multiple applications continue to seduce the market. The options provided by this range of vehicles for different functions are one of its most widely valued aspects. The use of a single cabin chassis that is able to be fitted with the most suitable accessory at a particular moment allows for maximum user comfort and considerable savings for business people. The new compactor and suction sweeper are clear examples of this.
“We’re talking about a new focus”, states Albert Hidalgo, head of the Multiservice range. For him, these options and/or changes to the range’s tools respond to the adaptation needs and greater efficiency demanded by the municipality sector.
