| AUSA CELEBRATES PRODUCTION OF ITS 100,000th MACHINE2006 was full of events; one of these was historic and was AUSA’s 50th anniversary and another two were current: the production of machine number 100,000, which has just left the assembly line and which coincides with the new dumper model D 900 AP (the machine with the greatest capacity developed by AUSA so far). The fact that machine number 100,000 was the D 900 AP makes this event even more special, as this dumper, which has a load capacity of 9,000 Kg., is one of AUSA’s main products.
If we take into consideration this new product’s specific features, the D 900 AP dumper is characterised by its articulated chassis and permanent four-wheel-drive, as well as its small rotation radius of just 5.95m. The dumper is equipped with reduced noise capacity and a state of the art 100 CV Kubota engine. It also has torque converter transmission that reduces maintenance to a minimum. The machine’s standard features are extremely comprehensive and take into account the driver’s safety and comfort.
The dumper stands out for 3 reasons:
a) it is able to do the work of traditional 10-12 tonne lorries with greater productivity on work sites;
b) loads of up to 9,000 Kg. can be transported with unbeatable manoeuvrability over all terrain;
c) the driver is offered greater visibility thanks to the fact that the seat is positioned 300 mm higher than in the competition’s vehicles
Bearing all of this in mind, AUSA does not want to stay put, rather the company hopes to meet new challenges, improving and updating its products and services to strengthen the company even more, if this were possible.
