| AUSA continues to climb up the charts in the United StatesAUSA demonstrated the versatility of its Multiservice range at the latest WORLD OF CONCRETE trade fair held recently in Las Vegas. Events such as this help the Spanish manufacturer to make a name for itself in the United States Almost 100,000 visitors attended WORLD OF CONCRETE, one of the largest events on the West Coast, where more than 1,500 exhibitors displayed their products. AUSA’s products included the TASK 50, the D 201RHS dumper truck and the C 250H x4 rough-terrain forklift truck. This is just a small selection of the wide range of products that the Spanish company manufactures.
The D 201RHS dumper truck turned heads since it is the only one of its kind with a self-loading shovel. This shovel is fitted with lifting arms that swing eccentrically so that the shovel is folded up inside the hopper, thus achieving maximum visibility when moving. The shovel has a loading capacity of 180 litres and a lifting force of 450 kg. Its unloading height is 1.25m.
The C 250H x4 forklift truck caused surprise due to its compact design and size without sacrificing a spacious cab with ergonomic and intuitive joystick controls, resulting in minimum fatigue and maximum operating safety.
The Task 50 is fitted with a 4x4 drive that can be disconnected, a Rotax engine cooled by 28 CV water, a maximum speed of 60 km/h and automatic CVT transmission, with two forward speeds and one reverse speed. Its many uses, such as in field work, construction sites, maintenance of grassy areas, or its more “recreational” version neither left visitors indifferent.
Keen to compete AUSA Corporation, a US subsidiary managed by Albert Díez, often attends the most important trade fairs held in this country, since this allows the company to consolidate itself on the US market and improve distribution in certain areas due to the interest shown by many distributors in representing the trademark.
The US market is one of the most discerning and especially appreciates the versatility of AUSA’s products, “an added value that few manufacturers attach to their products” in the words of a spokesman for the subsidiary. With this in mind, AUSA aspires to compete and find its footing on one of the highly demanding and competitive markets.
